About Jonathan Armstrong

Jon grew up in North Vancouver and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario before earning his law degree at the University of British Columbia and a Master of Laws at the University of Ottawa.

He began his legal career in Prince George, where he spent several years acting for businesses and their owners across a wide range of matters.

Called to the bar in 2012, Jon has practised law for fourteen years, focusing on corporate and commercial work: incorporations, shareholder and partnership agreements, commercial contracts, leasing, and the purchase and sale of businesses. He opened his own practice out of a desire to provide excellent service to clients in his community, bringing an understanding of the challenges that come from the very beginning of ownership of a business venture.

Jon has called Abbotsford home for the past ten years. Outside the office, he serves as a board member of the Abbotsford Whalers Aquatic Club.
